Annotation
The article discusses the problem of preparing high school students to pass the GTO standards. It is shown that despite the availability of scientific research and methodological recommendations for preparing students of educational institutions to meet regulatory requirements, there are significant limiting factors in the technology of developing motor abilities that determine the result. The factors explaining the discrepancies between the motor activity preceding the passing of regulatory requirements and the motor activity in the test exercises are revealed. The components of motor activity technology that determine the quality of preparation for passing the TRP standards are substantiated.
