Annotation

The article deals with the geographical features of the health care system in Russia. The factors affecting the territorial differentiation of the main indicators of health care of the population, as well as regional patterns of morbidity, mortality, life expectancy, availability of medical institutions were identified. The tendencies of changes of these parameters at the beginning of the XXI century statistical and cartographic methods of research.
