Annotation

This article analyzes the prospects for the transition of residents of the Kaliningrad region from cars with an internal combustion engine to electric engines. The analyzed experience of Russian authors confirms the economic effect of the development of the electromobility industry. Both positive and negative aspects of the impact of the automotive industry on the regional ecology are determined. The purpose of the work is to assess the problems and prospects for the location and development of the electric car industry in the region. The practical significance lies in the proposal of promising locations for the placement of charging infrastructure in the Kaliningrad region and a system of measures to stimulate the transition.
