Annotation

The relevance of this article is determined by the importance of studying the birds’ biological diversity as biological indicators of the environment’s state in particular waterbodies. Within the framework of this work ornithofauna was studied primarily in manmade waterbodies, which is based on increasing role of these waterbodies in the preservation of birds’ biodiversity. Methods of research are route research, point contact method. The article presents the species composition of birds occurring on waterbodies of Kazan and Arsky Rybkhoz of the Republic of Tatarstan. The article shows the species composition of birds occurring on man-made waterbodies of the Republic of Tatarstan. The materials presented in the article allow to assess the role of man-made waterbodies in the preservation of birds’ biodiversity.
